There are narrow windy roads, blind spots, wild horses, and steep inclines. The risk and consequences for unsafe driving are higher than normal. Be respectful of wildlife and fire restrictions. Elevation is very high. The small Lincoln County Medical Center ER is 25 minutes South of the venue.
Dress code is formal. Here is a handy guide.
Slacks, khakis, and very nice jeans are acceptable.
The venue is at over 7,550 feet in elevation.
With higher elevation, even the average person can easily get out of breath. Please speak with your doctor ahead of time if you have any breathing challenges. Bring your medications on your person at all times.
Of course! Bring those dancing shoes!
We will have cocktail hour after the ceremony, then a sit-down dinner with a meat dish. Communicate a preference for vegetarian dish and any other dietary restrictions within your RSVP. Outside alcohol is prohibited. Beer, champagne, sangria, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
Temperatures during the outdoor ceremony will likely be 70 degrees Fahrenheit give or take. Temperatures after sunset will likely be around 60 degrees. There may be a breeze as we will be at the top of a hill. Please prepare accordingly and feel free to warm-up on the dance floor!
This will be an 18+ wedding.
We do have a few limited spots. If you need a plus one, please contact the bride or groom before those spots are filled.
We will start wrapping up at 9:45pm. Quiet hours to respect the neighbors are at 10pm. Any food in-town closes around 10pm. If you need a late night snack, I would recommend having something ready in your hotel room beforehand.
Many of our guests are taking this opportunity to make a week-long trip out of it because there are so many incredible experiences in the immediate area and nearby. We love the area, so we have a dedicated page for it called Things To Do!
In short, I would plan on having no internet connection on-site. We want to enjoy your company anyways, so it works out!
